Water For People Benefit Concert

Sep 24, 2020 | 7:00PM

The Indiana Section of the American Water Works Association will host their annual Water For People Benefit Concert, one of the most anticipated events of the year, on September 24th at The Victory Theatre.

Back by popular demand, Peter Noone is regarded as one of Rock & Roll’s finest and most versatile entertainers. In the 1960s, his British band, Herman’s Hermits, was a hit machine — from “There’s a Kind of Hush” to “Mrs. Brown You’ve Got A Lovely Daughter” to “Can’t You Hear My Heartbeat?” to "I'm into Something Good” and the unforgettable “I’m Henry VIII, I Am” with its famous line: “Second verse same as the first ...”

The Association have had several million selling hits.  As of this millennium, 3 of the 100 most played tunes of all time on the radio are Association songs: "Cherish," "Windy," and "Never My Love." Their other popular recordings include “Along Came Mary” and “Everything That Touches You.”

Two great bands, one awesome night! You don’t want to miss this!

Proceeds from this event benefit the Water for People Charity. Corporate sponsorships are available, including tax-deductible ticket package options.  The public is invited to contribute by making donations or by inquiring as to how they can become more involved.
