Victory Theatre and Evansville Philharmonic Orchestra present Windborne’s The Music of Led Zeppelin featuring Conductor Roger Kalia and Vocalist Randy Jackson on October 26th at the Victory Theatre! The Evansville Philharmonic and a full rock band will perform Led Zeppelin’s classic songs. Tickets will go on sale exclusively to the EPO Season Subscribers on Tuesday, May 13th at 10am. EPO Season Subscribers will order their tickets through the EPO Ticket Office as normal until August 31st, 2025. Any remaining unsold EPO Season Subscriber ticket locations will be opened to the general public on September 1st. Tickets for non-subscribers will be available starting Friday, May 16th at 10AM at the Ford Center Ticket Office and Ticketmaster.com. THE MUSIC OF LED ZEPPELIN: A ROCK SYMPHONY Bridging the gulf between rock n’ roll and classical music, The Music of Led Zeppelin, a program scored by conductor/arranger Brent Havens to extend the listening experience of Led Zeppelin’s timeless tunes. Performed by Evansville Philharmonic Orchestra and amplified with a full rock band and screaming vocals.
Berklee-trained arranger/conductor Brent Havens has written music for orchestras, feature films and virtually every kind of television. His TV work includes movies for networks such as ABC, CBS and The Family Channel, commercials, sports music for networks such as ESPN and even cartoons. Recently, Havens worked with the Doobie Brothers and the Milwaukee Symphony, arranging and conducting the combined group for Harley Davidson’s 100th Anniversary Birthday Party Finale attended by over 150,000 fans. Havens just completed the score for the film “Quo Vadis,” a Premier Pictures remake of the 1956 gladiator film. Havens is Arranger/Guest Conductor for four symphonic rock programs – the Music of Led Zeppelin, the Music of the Doors, the Music of Pink Floyd and the Music of the Eagles. Guest vocalist Randy Jackson is the lead singer of the rock band Zebra, and recently produced and engineered their latest album, “Zebra IV.” He has also toured as keyboardist and guitarist with the reunited Jefferson Airplane, and works extensively in the area of musical software and hardware development. Producer Robert W. Cross is Artistic Director of the Virginia Arts Festival, where he presents 130 performances for audiences of all ages throughout southeastern Virginia each spring. He is also principal percussionist of the Virginia Symphony, and has recorded for Northeastern Records, NPR Classics, Albany and New Albion.
